Welcome to OEConnect!

A division of Otsego Electric Cooperative, Inc., we're bringing fast, reliable fiber broadband internet to Otsego County and parts of Herkimer, Madison, and Chenango counties. With partial grant funding from NYS through the New NY Broadband Program, our crews are working hard to set up service in our local communities.

Because the need is great and service is much in demand, there may be some wait time between sign up and service. The good news? Once complete, you'll have the essential internet you need for school, work, entertainment and other everyday necessities. We thank you for your patience as we continue this important work. FCC Lifeline Program Benefit for Qualifying Subscribers

Federal (FCC) Lifeline discounts of up to $9.25 per month apply on a qualifying voice and/or broadband service. One discount may be applied per household.  All of our voice services include unlimited local calling and  long distance calling up to 2,000 minutes.  While we offer a qualifying broadband program throughout our service area, not all broadband services may qualify for the federal Lifeline program benefit.

Construction

We have started constructing our state-of-the-art network.  We will be building to all members that are interested and some off-system.  We are currently doing installs out of all of our substations. We are currently up to approximately 3,500 customers and climbing.
